Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and check-in to Hotel
The representatives from World Sight Journeys will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival. We then transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 02: Full Day Sightseeing Tour of Kathmandu Valley
Today, we spend the whole for the sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley. You will have the full day guided sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley covering the major cultural attractions which have also been cited as The World Heritage Cultural Sites. After having breakfast in the morning, we visit Pashupatinath, which is considered the holiest temple of Lord Shiva. We then head to Bauddhanath, which is also known as Little Tibet and also is one of the oldest and largest Buddhist Monastery in the world.Following the Bauddhanath Monastery, we visit Swayambhunath, the Monkey Temple, which is equally revered by Hindus and Buddhists. Swayambhunath is an ancient religious complex atop a hill in the west of Kathmandu. After exploring the Swayambhunath Stupa, we drive to Kathmandu (Basantpur) Durbar Square. If time allows, you can explore the city. Finally, you will have dinner at the hotel and stay there overnight.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (Around 7/8 hours)
After having breakfast in the morning today, we drive to Pokhara. It takes around 7 hours to reach Pokhara from Kathmandu by bus. You can also take the flight which take about 30 minutes and in the remaining time, take your time to explore the Pokhara city and Lakeside. We stay overnight at a guesthouse in Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1577m) – 3 Hours
Today, we are going to begin our actual trek from Nayapul. So, we take a short drive to Nayapul from Pokhara which takes about an hour. From Nayapul, we take a short walk along the banks of Modi Khola, which brings us to Birethanti (1015m). From there, our trail continues through the village and climbs continuously up the side to the Hille (1495m). We eventually reach Tikhedhunga (1577m) where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 05: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2840m) – 5 Hours
From Tikhedhunga, we move on towards the steep climb to Ulleri (2070m). Ulleri is a large Magar village. Our trail ascends more gently from this point through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti (2250m). After walking for a couple of hours, we arrive at Ghorepani (2840m) where we stay overnight.
Day 06: Hike up to Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tadapani (2610m) – 4 Hours
Early in the morning today, we start an hour hiking to Poon Hill (3210m) which is the best viewpoint in the Annapurna Region. Poon Hill offers the best opportunity to witness the phenomenal panorama of the beautiful peaks including Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Poon Hill is regarded as the Photographer’s paradise. You can enjoy the unobstructed views of the sunrise over stunning snowcapped Himalayas. Poon Hill also offers the best views of the sunset too. After spending about an hour at Poon Hill, we return back to Ghorepani. We take our breakfast at Ghorepani and after that, we continue climbing along the ridges through the forest of pines and rhododendron. The climb brings us to Deurali (2960m)and descending further takes us to Tadapani eventually. We stay overnight at a guesthouse in Tadapani (2610m).
Day 07: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1940m) – 4 Hours
We have to descend through the forests while following the trail to Ghandruk. Well, Ghandruk is known as the biggest Gurung settlement in Nepal. In Ghandruk, you can explore the typical culture and lifestyle ethnic Gurung residents. Ghandruk also offers the magnificent views of mountains. AsGhandruk is within easy reach from Pokhara and Kathmandu, it is regarded as the famous destination for trekkers. We stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 08: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul (1010m) and drive to Pokhara
Today is the final day of our trek. So, we follow our trail back to Nayapul from Ghandruk. From Nayapul, we take a short drive to Pokhara where we stay overnight at a guesthouse.
Day 09: Pokhara City Sightseeing
We spend this whole day sightseeing the beautiful city of Pokhara, which is the best tourist destination in Nepal. Early in the morning, our first aim is to reach Sarangkot, which is popular among tourists as it offers the beautiful sunrise and sunset views. You can witness the phenomenal sunrise in the beautiful Machhapuchhre, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. After spending an hour at Sarankot, we drive back to Pokhara to explore the number of mysterious caves and temples. We take our time to enjoy boating in Fewa Lake and explore the Seti Gorge and Davis Falls. In the remaining time, you can explore the city. Overnight, we stay at a guesthouse.
Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu
We drive back to Kathmandu from Pokhara today. Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can utilize your time for the last minute shopping or you can explore the city. We celebrate the Farewell Dinner together with the trekking team and spend overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Final Departure
Today, you take the returning flight to your hometown. Our representatives will assist you to reach the airport. You return to your home with an unforgettable travel experience in Nepal.
